| Encloses copy of letter to Secy Navy Apr
13th/64 & reiterate his opn iron in regard to construction of RR 3/4
miles in length from Wilmington & Weldon RR at Halifax to the Navy yard
at that point. States that it will prevent the necessity of employing so
many mules & hands engaged in hauling supplies from the river to the
Depot &c. |
