Asks that the negroes at work on Va C RRd
{Virginia Central RR} be continued there
has been informed that they are included in the number called for by
County Courts to work on public defences. |

recommendation that the negro labor employed upon the CRR be not
withdrawn from the RR. The services of these negroes is very important
to the road and to the Transptn Dept of Genl Lee's command |
