Retd to Mr Harvie. The difficulties in his way have
seriously affected supplies of this dept. & we have nothing on hand with
which to respond to this request. Recognizing fully the importance of
this RRd to Govt I have conferred with Sec of War & secured consent of
Commsy dept to supply your road temporarily with flour.
I trust however that Rd will soon be able to receive supplies purchased
on its own a/c. |
