In reference to instructions of Genl to run
train from Stony Creek to Weldon at night
{Petersburg RR} |
Capt Jno M Robinson |

Ref to Col Corley in connection with
communication sent him by Capt Robinson. So far as this dept. exercises
any control over line of RR from Richd to Wilmington, it is exercised
through Capt Robinson & I would be pleased to have him made acquainted
with Lee's views & wishes in reference to mode of running trains. But
for Genl Lee's orders I would insist on trains being run at least as far
north as Stony Creek by daylight |
