The within reply from Lt Col Cone, who is
charged at this point with the examination & settlement of all Rail
Roads accounts not adjusted elsewhere, under special orders, is referred
to Maj Le Baron QM at Mobile. {Is not clear, but
is a correct transcription} |
In regard to the Augusta rates they were
never adopted by Col Wadley & I have no power in the premises. The
authority to regulate the rates of transportation on Govt accts is now
with Capt Sims, successor to Col Wadley |
