Calls attention of Q M Genl to the accident
at Swift Creek Bridge by sending the engine "J. R. Anderson" over to
Petersburg thereby causing a suspension of transportation over their
road, and specially ask attention to the connecting track between Depots
in Petersburg and desires a competent engineer to survey a better route
than the present and if consent of City of Petersburg be obtained for
permanent connection will pay the Govt at close of War its value. |
