Refers a letter from J. H. Woodcock Agent
R&P RR Co {Richmond & Petersburg RR}
stating that doors of depot are only closed when unloading corn trains
and then for but 2 hours in each day. Have been instructed that such
trains must have the preference. |

April 21, 1863. No preference is given by
the R&P RR Company to this Department and none has been requested. The
trains containing corn are usually unloaded in the night on the side
