| Encloses letter from Capt W. J. Woods, and
says the requisitions therein spoken of, containing clause freeing
Rail-Roads from responsibility for good carried by them, were gotten up
by Presdt of Montgomery R. Rd {probably the
Montgomery & West Point RR}; and that he has directed said clause
to be stricken out. |
