According to Capt. Sam.
Schuler's report of same date, there will be ready for shipment
tomorrow one 10in Columbiad, also one 10in Columbiad on the 20th
instant, and one 7in Rifle on the 24th inst. and one 10in Columbiad on
the 26th inst. I have written to Capt. Schuler to urge on with all
possible dispatch, the completion of the above guns, in order to have
them all finished by the 23rd inst. |

fear the transportation will fail, & I suggest that the Q. M. Genl
be notified that transportation for two of these guns must be ready on
the 23rd inst. |
