Resply retd to QM Genl. As Mr Pugh alleges
that he would attend to the Trans Depmt of any other st?? than those
placed by Capt Venable, it may be necessary to appoint a Transpt Agent
who I think might be able to attend to all the duties of the place.
Hence order Capt Langdon to inspect the duties and report what he
considers best in the ??? |
