States he has received a telegram from Majr
Harman asking for transportation for 4 Regts from Buffalo Gap to
Manassas. The former point is 10 miles west of Staunton. Suggests that
troops be mustered from that point to the Western Terminus of the
Manassas Gap rail road, as he has not rolling stock sufficient to carry
them. |
