Refers to QM General a letter from A Dudly
President of Richmond & York River RRd relative to free negroes engaged
in cutting wood for use of Govt. Complains that some of them have been
taken away by a Mr John Darrs professing to act for the QM Dept. Asks
that an order be issued prohibiting any one from interfering with the
wood cutters along this Railroad. |
