Morning report of receipts & shipments of
corn |
Maj C S Carrington |

Nov 22/64 Refd to Maj C. Is there no corn
coming forward? These reports showing no arrivals from day to day are
truly alarming. I fear officers charged with collection & distribution
of forage are not as pressing as they should be & from this time forth
Genl Lee's army must rely entirely on their exertions. I beg to call Maj
Carrington's attention to this matter at once. A R Lawton
