States there are no freight & commissary
stores detained between Chattanooga, New Orleans, Memphis or Nashville
and Lynchburg. Has let Mr Wallace {President, East
Tennessee & Georgia RR} have two locomotives, and ordered five
locomotives to be sent back to New Orleans. Has ordered all freight for
Richmond, Lynchburg & Manassas to be brought over the Va & Tenn Roads.
In relation to the Commissary stores shipped by Capt. J. T. Shaaff from
Nashville to Manassas. |
