Octo 7, 1862. QM General: I have promised
to sell three of the engines to the Orange & Alexandria RR Co. The other
four may be distributed among the Va Central, the Richmond & Danville
and the Va & Tenn. Probably it will be best to give the Va Central two
and the others one a piece. GWR |
Referred to Capt. M Morfit for his
information and action in conformity therewith. To be returned. |

as follows "President" "Red Bird" and "Winans" to O&A RR. "Hero" & "Job
