| Respy retd to the Commissary Genl. There is
no question of the correctness of the Comptrollers opinion as to the
liability of the rail roads, and whenever statements of loss for which
they are responsible and presented, they will be referred to the officer
settling the accounts of the roads which are in default for adjustment. |
