| Reply returned to Col E Fontaine President
of the Central RRoad Company. Officers and agents of the QM Dept are
hereby instructed not to interfere with or impress forage purchased by
the Va. Central Rail Rd for the subsistence of animals employed in the
repairs of that road. This authority is to be understood as referring
only to such supplies as are absolutely necessary for the smallest
number of animals required by the road. |
