Returning communications relative to
transporting wood by rail road to Danville & states it cannot be done,
owing to crippled condition of machinery, but suggests with 4 men
detailed for 90 days to repair 2 engines now idle that it could be
arranged & other transportation benefited. {Almost
certainly referring to the Richmond & Danville RR} |
