In transporting the two regiments of troops that are
expected to arrive at Monticello from Savannah, I desire that you get
certificates as to the number of troops transported from Monticello to
Lake City. Let Commanding Officer of each detachment give the
Conductor a Certificate as he goes down. This arrangement will prevent
trouble.
