Dear Sir,
|
My son having been thrown out of employ on the Piedmont
R. R., on account of the insufficiency of labour to employ all the
Engineering parties, I write to ascertain whether you can find him a
situation in some of your Engineering parties now in the field. He
understands the use of the Level, is industrious and of good
moral habits. Any thing you may do in his behalf will always
be duly appreciated.

Yrs truly Sir
