"via Goldsboro, Raleigh & Weldon," 15 bales ??? (hides?). I sent also 12
cases of carbines to Lt. Col. Brown. |

| I am in hopes that I will be able to get
off a large lot "ex Cornubia" & "Emma," before the end of the week and
also such stores as will be landed from the S. S. "Ro. E. Lee." |
