James Tupper is a member of the Chath?? Volunteers,
Commanded by one Captain Phillips, formerly Catn Phillips, Cherokee
District. This man volunteered simply because he was forced by
circumstances to do so, as the whole of his Corps, with few exceptions
did so. This Corps is or will be in Confederate Service & will be
ordered to Whites View CRR into camp of instruction. |
