I certify on honor that the
above is a correct account of the expenses for material furnished and
labor done rebuilding Trestle Bridge (destroyed by the army at
Normandy), in compliance with an order or order of Majr. Genl Saml.
Jones, to rebuild such Bridges as had been destroyed on the Nashville &
Chattanooga Rail Road, so as to pass trains over them, and that the
material furnished and work done were necessary for the passage of
trains over the Bridge. |
