| In reply to your communication
of the 2nd inst, enclosing a letter from Mr E W Cole Supt of the
Nashville & Chattanooga Rail Road Co. setting forth reasons why the
increased rates for transportation heretofore allowed up to May 1st
last, should be continued, I have specially to authorize you to settle
the Transportation account of that company to the 1st inst. at the rate
of four cents a mile for Troops. |
