Second Auditor |
I determine the claims for damage caused by
the collisions allowable |
|
1st From Major Stevensons statement of Sep.
26th, it appears to have been, in substance altho motion forms, on
impressment of the cars and engines of the Nashville & Chatt. R R
Co. This makes the case as guarantor of the safety of the property. |
2nd The cars and engines being ????? were
under the control of its officers and the engineers &c were ???
the officers of the Co and not of the N&C R. R. Co. The later
therefore would not be responsible for negligence. |
