General Bragg stated this morning that you
had informed him that Ordnance Stores shipped to Columbus had been
detained three or four days on the Route. As I have not been advised
of any such detention, you will oblige me by asking your messenger
what kind of stores they were, when shipped from here and the name of
the Conductor, that I may investigate the case. |
