This is to certify that on the
9th day of May 1864 I called upon Mr. Palmis agent for M&GN RRd {Mobile
& Great Northern RR} for an engine two cars to run down on
the Pensacola RRd {Alabama & Florida (of
Florida) RR} to carry forage down to the terminus and bring
back a lot of Company stores left there by the 4th Ark Regt and that
the train was furnished on the 10th inst and ran down the track and
back again on the evening of that day. I called upon Mr Palmis for
this train in obedience to telegraphic order from Genl Maury signed by
