On my return from Charleston I have just
received the letter of Lieut. Waller, written by your direction, of Aug.
26th, with reference to tin that you can sell to the Macon &
Western R. R. Mr. Tyler, Supt. of the rail road, requests that you will
send on the 400 lbs., which you say you can spare at once, and the
Treasurer of the rail road will promptly pay for the same. |
The company have heretofore paid $2.50 per
lb. for block tin, but are willing to pay any reasonable price. |
