| Messrs Wood, Headon & Co. of Stone
Mountain, De Kalb Co., and Mr. Jas. F. Davon of Van Wert, Polk Co.
(Depot at Cartersville) have cut stone and slate respectfully ready for
delivery for the use of this establishment, but they state that they
cannot obtain transportation. Will you be kind enough to facilitate the
despatch of cars as soon as possible to bring down these materials to
me. I believe Davon wants 4 or 5 cars, and Wood & Meador 3 or 5. Davon
wants 2 or 3 days notice of the despatch of the cars in order to send a
watchman down to superintend the loading of slate. |
