On my return from an absence of some days
it is reported to me that the last lot of lime sent me by you was in
worse condition (as to cooperage) than any before, so much so as to call
forth strong remonstrance from the R R. Co. as to the time lost in
unloading it. Your letter of the 17th inst. partially explained this,
but I trust no similar case will occur again. |
