Sir, |
I have received your letter of the 31st
April with reference to lumber for Pitte & Cook of Atlanta. |
It is almost impossible now to obtain a
train for the purpose of hauling this lumber, but I am using every
exertion to secure one, and hope to make an arrangement by which I can
before very long get cars enough together to carry off the amount you
have on hand. |
It will be necessary however for you to
load the lumber upon the cars. You can, I presume, make arrangements to
do so by timely notice being given you of the day on which the train
will go down. Please let me know whether all the lumber is now at the
railroad, and whether you are prepared to load it when a train may be
sent. |
Hands cannot be procured from the R. R.
Co. |
I am Sir |
Very Respectfully |
