Major, |
Messrs. J. S. Schofield & Bro. of this
place, proprietors of a foundry and machine shop in which a good deal of
work is done for me, have today requested me to write to you and ask
your aid in getting a small supply of coal forwarded which is necessary
to the progress of their work. |
They want to get four car loads of coal
transported from the property of the "Red Mountain Coal and iron mining
Co." to Selma. |
I respectfully request that you will if
possible exert your influence in favor of Messrs. Schofield & Bro. in
this matter. |
I am, Major, &c |
