Mr J. H. Denson |
Denson's Mill |
|
Sir, |
Two cars were sent down to your mill
yesterday (Monday) after lumber, according to agreement, but no lumber
was brought. I must call for the prompt fulfillment of your engagement.
My carpenters are now stopped in the building of houses for my negro
hands (greatly needed in this inclement weather) by the want of plank.
Send on plank at once, and as rapidly as possible. The cars will go down
again on Thursday as promised. I shall expect that there will be no
failure then to forward a full load of lumber. |
I am, &c |
