Sir, |
***** |
My object in writing this evening is to
inform you that Mr Irwin, Agent of the Central
{(of Georgia)} R/R, to whom I have applied for another train to
go down for your lumber, says that he thinks he can send a train of say
15 cars on Saturday next, the 28th inst if you will have lumber enough
to load it by that time. |
Please write immediately on receipt of
this, a line to Mr Irwin and another to myself, stating whether you
will have the lumber ready by Saturday or not, if not, when it will be
ready. Send the not to Mr Irwin by the up train. |
Your hands will be needed to load the
lumber, for which I will of course pay you as agreed. |
I am sir &c |
