| I am informed by Maj. E. H. Harris, Q. M.
at Montgomery, that 7 boxes from Mobile, Ala. addressed to me at this
place were received in Montgomery and forwarded to me on the 2nd inst.
by the Montgomery & West Point R. R. They have not arrived here, and I
am advised by the Agt. of the S. W. R. R. {South
Western RR} to write to you with regard to them. Please inform me
whether you have received these boxes, and if so send them forward
without delay. |
