This certifies that R H Caldwell Robert Browder J H Wood,
are the duly elected and constituted commissioners of the Sinking fund
of the "Memphis Branch" rail road {Memphis,
Clarksville & Louisville RR} for Logan County, holding
three hundred thousand dollars Stock in Said Road, and that they are
now as such exercising all the functions of that position. Also, that
Said R. H. Caldwell is and has been from the organization of Said
board of commissioners the Treasurer of Said "Sinking fund"
with bond of thirty six thousand dollars, approved & filed in this
office.
