| ***** There is no mineral coal or coke in
Macon. I have not had a pound for the past 9 months and Col. Cuyler but
a very little. I use charcoal exclusively, and you must do the same if
you cannot get coal from Selma, which is the only source of supply at
present. I have no arrangement in force for getting supplies of coal
from Selma, and therefore regret that I cannot loan you some. ***** |
