| Your letter of the 17th addressed to Maj
Sehon has been referred to me. |
| In compliance with the request contained
in your letter of the 3d I applied for cars to be sent to Cartersville
for the slate for you and failed to get them. The agent of the Macon &
Western Rail Road promised me he would send the cars as soon as he
could, but has been unable to do so up to this time. This was must
furnish the cars in order to avoid transferring at this point as the
Western & Atlantic Rail Road has not the cars to spare. |
| Upon application to Mr. Tylor at Macon you
may perhaps procure the cars. |
