On the first part of the Month April We
purchased a Car load of Coal in Chattanooga, which has Never Reached us.
at that time We had a transportation pass from the Navy Department. We
have now a transportation pass from Genl Mercer. Mr Adams Superintendent
of the C{entral} RRoad has refered us to
You. We would like to have You furnish us With a Car for the purpose of
bringing Coal from Chattanooga. the Coal is for the purpose of doing
work for the obstructions in the river We are in Much Need of the Coal
and If You Will interceed for us and obtain the Car You will Confer a
favor. Allow us to hear from you on the subject. |
