| Your letter containing invoice of 50
Squares of Slate shipped to this Armory bearing date 9th is received. |
| I have just been advised of the arrival of
the slate at this place. It will be unloaded today. This shipment will
be sufficient for the building now being erected. I think it advisable
however to request you to ship them to us as fast as possible as the
building to be covered next will be very large and will require a large
quantity of slates. Col. Burton is absent just now on a visit to
Richmond. |
