Having been informed by Mr Cochrane
{President, Macon & Brunswick RR} some days
ago. That the temporary track to your mill is completed. I send the
bearer, Mr. R. C. Wilder, to superintendent the shipment & reshipment of
the lumber at Coley's Station, which is now ready at your mills. You
will oblige me by affording him, such facilities as he may require and
may be in your power to sender. I shall be glad if you can furnish the
necessary teams to haul the lumber to Coley's Station and the laborers
to re-load the cars at that place, for which I will pay you a fair &
reasonable compensation. |
