Major, |
I have received a letter from Mr. A. C.
Richards this morning informing me that the late rains have carried away
a bridge on the line of Rail Road connecting the coal mines with the W.
& A. R. R. {Western & Atlantic RR} but that
it will be rebuilt as soon as possible, as it is necessary to the
obtaining of supplies for Genl Braggs Army. Until I can obtain my
supplies of coal I shall be compelled to borrow from you to keep my
smiths going and will send to you from time to time for that purpose. |
Respectfully & truly Yours |
