Gentlemen, |
I desire to construct a side track
branching from the line of the Macon & Western R. R. at a point where
that road crosses Ash Street and passing through Block 50, across
Calhoun Street, into the grounds of this Armory. |
Also to purchase from the City for the
service of this Armory the fractions of Block 52 x 50, contiguous to
Block 49, now owned by the C. S. Govt. I respectfully request that you
will inform me, as early as convenient, on what terms the City will
grant the rights of way, and sell the land referred to, and as there are
questions and details involved which cannot satisfactorily be explained
in writing, I respectfully suggest the propriety of your appointing a
committee to confer with me on the subject and to whom I can fully
explain the requirements of the case on behalf of the C. S. Govt. |
