It is desirable that more regularity in
the time kept at this Armory should be secured. In order to arrive at
this object, I see no better way than to make our time correspond with
that of some one of the Rail Roads having a terminus in this city. You
will therefore make such arrangements as may be necessary to keep the
Armory Clock, with the time indicated by the clock in the corner office
of the Freight Depot of the Macon & Western R. R. in this city, and
comparisons should be made at least twice a week if not oftener
with that clock. |
