{Superintendent, Central (of Georgia) RR} |
Sup't Cent. R. R. |
|
Sir, |
I am willing to continue the details of
the employees of Messrs Littlefield Brinson & Co. of Emmanuel Co. Ga.
contractors with this Armory for the supply of lumber and to allow the
to saw lumber for the Cent. R. R. until such time as the line of R. R.
can be repaired between Macon and 8 1/2 Station, on the single condition
that when transpn is resumed over the above portion of your road, you
will promptly furnish the cars on my requisitions from time to time for
the transpn of Govt. lumber to Macon: about 15,000 feet of lumber has
been burned by the enemy at 8 1/2, a large portion, or all of which
might have been saved had transpn been supplied for it. Trusting that
this will meet your approval and requesting a reply in writing |
I am |
Respectfully & truly Yours |
