Major, |
I missed connection here & have just
seen Capt Sharp about machinery. He has a small wide lest lathe, very
light, but will do for turning brasses which he sends to me for
Salisbury Works. |
Mr Gillpreis of which I spoke to you is
now of the Union Mfg Co. 4 spindle presses & wa's purchased by
Capt Sharp of the Union Mfg Co. You directed the Union Mfg Co to sell
it to him. It is good order. Capt Sharp will turn it over to you &
send it to any point you may desire. I told him you would like it and
it now awaits your directions. |
I do not think I could use it to
advantage. |
I trust you will be able to send to me
this week the Drill press purchased of Slate & some dies which I
Samson & Pae are making. The Drill press &c to be repaid for
by Capt Brainger |
Very respectfully |
