{The printed form has the
notation, to the left of the sum in the table, "Service removing
Balt. & O. rails and machinery." The location is
"Winchester" and the paying officer is "Capt. F(rank)
P. Clark." All three of these printed items have been lined
through and the words transcribed above have been added. It is clear
that Capt. Clark, on duty as a Quartermaster in Winchester, was
sufficiently involved in Capt. Sharp's removal of Baltimore & Ohio
RR material that he had forms printed with that information on them.} |
