| I have the honor to enclose notice of
requisition from Engineer Bureau on the Treasy in my favor for
300,000.00. I also enclose copy of extract of letter from the Treasury
to T. S. Metcalf C. S. Depositary at Augusta. The drafts have not been
received and have doubtless been intercepted. |
