| I am directed by the General
Commanding to enquire of you as to the nature of the difficulties which
have heretofore prevented the junction of the G H & H R R
{Galveston, Houston & Henderson RR} with
the H & Texas Central R. R. {Houston & Texas
Central RR}. What preliminary measures are necessary if any and
as to whether any further legislation is necessary in the matter. |
| Also, whether the G&H Junction
R. R. Co would undertake to complete the Junction through Houston.
