Dear Sir, |
I trust you will not regard me as
troublesome in calling to offer on you for obtaining material or
assistance to keep up this Road, and in reminding you that we are in a
great measure sustaining the transportation between West Point and
Wilmington. We must have Coal to make wheels, and under your order for
transportation dated 17th Feb we have obtained a few tons thro the
exertions of Mr Timmons of the Firm of ????? who has given his
personal attention to the matter. |
My object now is to state that Labor Days,
Coal & Platforms are all under
the control of the Qr Master, and to ask for an order from the Qr Mas
Gen to Qr Mas on the Road from Selma to West Point to furnish
transportation for Fifty Tons Coal per month for the Ga R Road, the
Road paying for same and the bills to be forwarded to the Qr Mas at
Augusta for collection. |
Very Respectfully |
Geo. Yonge |
